Ryan Berns of the Lacrosse Leadership Institute sits down with AEP Co-Founder Alexis Brandolini. The goal of Lacrosse Leadership Institute is to grow the game and reflect the lessons of the sport that taught Ryan so many valuable skills. Ryan says he feels "blessed with the opportunity to support young men to grow into the hard working, respectable men they will become."

Lacrosse Leadership Institute writes:

Ryan Berns and Alexis Brandolini discuss Alexis' journey with lacrosse. She started her career as one of the few girls on a boys team. She has always looked up to a diverse group of individuals for mentorship and coaching. Lacrosse has put Alexis in a room where she is able to have a high impact on many of teams with the Alpha Echo Project. Alexis and Ryan talk about what it means to be a leader. Alexis emphasizes that a leader is able to understand others. They can empathize with the adversity of their teammates and creates a space ("set a table") for their team to feel safe to share what is on their mind. A team is able to be exceptional once they have a solid foundation of values, a common mission, and focused vision. The Alpha Echo project has spent ample time recreating successful teams and empowering them to take on monumental tasks. Thank you Alexis for being a part of our community and sharing your perspective on lacrosse and leadership. We wish you continued success and growth!

Thanks to Ryan Berns for the opportunity to connect with one another and those following Lacrosse Leadership Institute! Best wishes on foster inclusion in the sport of lacrosse in the exciting growth area of Arizona.
